Tasks — network-observability-consolidation

Phase 1: Audit + decision

• 1.1 Diff upstream network-observability exports against shipped network-plugin-monitor.
• 1.2 Identify capabilities unique to upstream — Prometheus exposition, Grafana dashboard generator, OTel SDK bridge.
• 1.3 Chose Option A — fold. OTel SDK bridge dropped as redundant.
• 1.4 Updated proposal's parity table with finalised verdicts.

Phase 2: Implementation (Option A — fold)

• 2.1 Added src/prometheus/prometheus-exposition.{ts,md,test.ts} and src/grafana/dashboard-generator.{ts,md,test.ts}.
• 2.2 Both modules ≤300 LOC with sibling .md (>200 words, basic + advanced examples).
• 2.3 No new OTel instruments needed — upstream OTel SDK bridge is redundant given monitor already emits via @opentelemetry/api.
• 2.4 Root barrel src/index.ts updated with explicit named exports (CLAUDE.md §6a).

Phase 3: Cleanup

• 3.1 Removed @suaveplan/network-observability row from STATUS.md / SUMMARY.md.
• 3.2 Added supersession row to STATUS.md.

Phase 4: Verification

• 4.1 bunx turbo lint typecheck test --filter=@suaveplan/network-plugin-monitor green.
• 4.2 bunx turbo test:coverage 100/100/100/100 across all 12 source files.
• 4.3 bun run docs:check reports 13/13 (100%).

Pre-archive checklist

• Row 1 — Decision (A or B) recorded in this proposal.
