Network Library Phase 0 Implementation Tasks

This document outlines the specific tasks that need to be completed to implement Phase 0 of the network library. After completing this planning phase, we'll switch to Code mode to execute these tasks.

Implementation Tasks

1. Utils Directory and Event System Integration

• Create libs/network/src/utils directory
• Implement event-constants.ts with NetworkEvents enum
• Implement network-event-emitter.ts that wraps @suaveplan/events
• Create index.ts for exporting all utils

2. Update Types with Event Support

• Add IEventEmitter interface
• Add INetworkEventEmitter interface
• Update NodeState enum if needed
• Add APIVersion interface

3. Plugin System Infrastructure

• Implement plugin-registry.ts for plugin management
• Create related plugin interfaces and types
• Set up plugin lifecycle hooks

4. Versioning Infrastructure

• Create versioning directory
• Implement version-info.ts for semantic versioning
• Implement version-manager.ts for compatibility checking
• Create index file for versioning exports

5. Update NetworkNode Implementation

• Complete constructor with event emitter integration
• Implement all getter methods
• Add node relationship management methods
• Implement connection management
• Add plugin registration support
• Integrate event system throughout methods

6. Update NetworkSystem Implementation

• Integrate event system in constructor
• Implement node creation and management
• Add hierarchy placement logic
• Add plugin registration support
• Implement versioning support

7. Update Main Index File

• Export all main components
• Set up logical organization of exports

8. Testing Infrastructure

• Create test files for all components
• Implement unit tests for each class
• Add integration tests for cross-component functionality
• Test event propagation through the system
