# Tasks — <change title>
|
|
|
|
> Every checkbox MUST reflect work actually done in this change. Do not retroactively tick boxes for work that was already in main when this change opened. Do not tick a box for a test that doesn't exist or doesn't pin the requirement it claims to verify. Retroactive ticking is the failure mode this template guards against.
|
|
|
|
## 0. Pre-flight (non-negotiable)
|
|
|
|
- [ ] 0.1 Confirm clean working tree (`git status` reports nothing) and no in-flight worktrees with uncommitted work (`git worktree list` then `git status` in each)
|
|
- [ ] 0.2 If any worktrees exist under `.claude/worktrees/`, account for each one: still-active agent, work-pending-merge, or stale-and-prune. Stale worktrees MUST be removed (`git worktree remove`) before opening a new one — code that has been lost twice on main is the failure mode this guards against.
|
|
- [ ] 0.3 Confirm the package set in `MANIFEST.md` matches `find packages -maxdepth 3 -name package.json` count. Drift here means a prior change archived without regenerating the manifest.
|
|
- [ ] 0.4 §0a Sync (worktree-isolated agents ONLY): run `git merge-base --is-ancestor <EXPECTED_BASE> HEAD` against the orchestrator-supplied SHA. If false, `git fetch /home/paul/web/genesis genesis && git merge FETCH_HEAD --no-edit`. Then re-verify. Empirically the harness forks worktrees from a stale ref — this gate prevents Wave-N-blind work that re-invents interfaces from earlier merges.
